Catherine Park Estate recently celebrated Christmas in the most festive fashion. On Thursday 6 December, residents and Harrington Estates staff gathered at the newly completed Robbins Park to celebrate the festive season.
The growth of the community throughout 2018 meant that the turnout was fantastic, with many old and new residents coming along to bask in the festive spirit. The mood was jovial and cheerful as residents mingled with old friends and met new neighbours as well.
The children made good use of the new playground, and parents were pleased to hear the announcement about the additional play equipment that will soon be delivered as a result of community feedback. Catherine Park Estate is always welcoming feedback and taking suggestions on board, and this was another example of that coming to fruition.
The freshly cooked pizza came straight out of the oven onsite and into the hands of guests, making for a gourmet yet relaxed meal. Children worked up an appetite on the jumping castle, which also freed their parents up to enjoy a casual chat with their neighbours.
The arrival of Santa Claus was a standout for the younger residents, who all raced down the historic Robbins Lane to meet him. Santa’s path to the party highlighted the unique feature of the community and the way it will continue to serve residents for years to come.
The staff at Catherine Park Estate wish residents a safe and happy festive season and a prosperous, peaceful 2019.
