In Honour of Lady Mary Fairfax, Catherine Park Estate will host our second annual gardening competition. Sharpen your tools and pull up those boots it is time to show off your new garden and claim your share in over $1000 worth of prizes.
The competition will commence on Sunday 15th November 2020. All entrants must be registered by Monday 30th November. The Winners will be announced on Monday 7th December 2020.
All entrants will be judged on merit and not on size.

Most Beautiful Garden

Winner plaque for fence or garden
Criteria: Best colour display, foliage shape, design, and originality. Additional points will be given for celebrating local heritage
Best Courtyard or Balcony Garden
$250 EFTPOS Gift card
$100 to spend at Enzo’s Gregory Hills
Winner plaque for fence or garden
Criteria: Best use of a small space, use of bright colours and originality additional points will be given for celebrating local heritage
Most Water Efficient Garden

Winner plaque for fence or garden
Criteria: Use of plants that require minimal water, evidence of attracting beneficial insects and bird life, originality and a water saving technique such as the use of recycled water
Complete the submission form along with photos, video or a combination of both and include a short description about the inspiration for your garden, any innovative or unique features as well as details of the plants that you have used. The more photos the better!
At least one photo must include either you, the owner, or the front façade of the home.
Include your name and your lot number or street address.

Terms and Conditions:
- Eligible only to those who have obtained their Occupation Certificate on a home site within Catherine Park Estate
- Photos, video or a combination of both along with a short description about the inspiration for your garden and any innovative or unique features as well as the plants you have used.
- At least one photo must include either the homeowner or the front façade of the home for validation.
- Completed Submission Forms must be emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by midnight 30th November 2020. They must also include the name of the entrant and lot number/street address.
- In consultation with a guest judge, Catherine Park Estate management will award one winner for each category based on the judging criteria.
- Winners will be announced on 7th December 2020. The announcement will be made to the Catherine Park Estate database and all entrants will be informed.
- The offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
- Limited to one entry per home site.
- The winner of each category agrees to Catherine Park Estate management sharing prize winning entries in any media, in submissions, on websites, social media and any other promotional material.
